If you have visited this site recently or usually get notes from me regarding new articles, you might think I have dropped off the earth somewhere… well, not entirely, though maybe not completely false either.

Summer time takes on a very different rhythm for me, and my usual school year activities also most often go on break, to be replaced by other, just as important and time demanding projects.

Meanwhile, please take the time to look around and read past articles. There is plenty here already. Scroll down the Blog pages or go to the Archive for direct links.

Article writing and posting will resume in August.

See you soon.

Artist Raises Money For Adoption and Donates Part of Proceeds To Non-Profit La Leche League Local Chapter

-
Austin, TX - Independent artist Christine Pointeau of the Austin, TX area is offering her self-published book series A Cappella, vol. 1&2 at a discount to raise money to fulfill her dream of adopting a child. Pointeau will also donate $1 per book set sold to La Leche League, Austin, TX Chapter, a local non-profit organization educating mothers and the public on the benefits of breast feeding.

A Cappella is a transcendental, whimsical search for truth and self, in image format, often compared to poetry, and described by Sequential Tart Reviewer Patti Martinson as “A thoughtful, nicely drawn, compelling graphic novel.”

Get your copies of the A Cappella 2 volume set from www.RiverbyNight.com for 15% OFF retail at $16.00 plus S&H. In addition, Pointeau will send a free A Cappella poster thank you gift to every 50th participant. Pointeau is hoping to sell a minimum of 500 book sets as she will need over $20,000 to cover adoption fees.
